What Jira doesn't do:
- Usable by humans. The interface was designed for process managers, not engineers. Every action takes 3 clicks too many.
- Spec generation. Jira stores tickets, not specifications. The "description" field is unstructured text.
- Code awareness. No understanding of your codebase despite GitHub integration.
- Real dependency management. Links are informational labels with zero scheduling impact (unless you pay for Premium + Advanced Roadmaps).
